(Review) Secondborn Unleash DIY Rock



Meet Secondborn, the Louisiana rockers are set to release their new EP, Symbols, on June 2nd. Don’t be fooled by an EP release, this is a seasoned group of musicians with DIY work ethic and punk attitude. Here’s a brief review of of their new EP.

Symbols kicks off with “Say Love”, a fast-paced equally drum and guitar driven song that reminds me of one of my favorite current bands, Vietcong Pornsurfers. “Secrets” slows it down, much more melody driven made to listen loud from car speakers with the top down. Another strong tune, “When Lions Dream” is the first single and again a pop/rock sound that I can easily see
