The End of Motley Crue

This week girl fights, insanity and the end of Motley Crue (sort of). Given the band’s Vegas connections there should really be a line on how long before the band gets back together (after their “final” show) with their WE ARE LIARS TOUR!First up, Jettblack have released a video for “Explode”, the first single from the band’s upcoming ‘Disguises’ album. There is nothing quite like a girl fight and working out to rock music; drinking and working out fit nicely with most rock genres. Do country music fans work out to country music? Not sure, but I do know L.L. Cool J still works out every day to his song “Mama Said Knock You Out.” That is 100 percent true. He also works out in front of a mirror 100 percent of the time. That is also 100 percent true. Back to the video – didn’t really need the ripped “chin up” guy montages, but oh well…

Swedish rockers, Dirty Passion, have released a video for the single “Los Angeloser”, from their upcoming self-titled album. The video appears to take place in an insane asylum with hot nurses. Guys are just strapped down and super crazy. Torture Porn Alert! The doctors have drills and saws to “fix” their patients? What if the reason they are insane is because they are strapped down and surrounded by hot nurses. It’s like spending your whole life in a strip club with strict no touching rules…

Motley Crue have confirmed that 2015 will be the final year the band is together and their last show will be New Year’s Eve at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. They have also released a video for “All Bad Things Must End” which is just a montage of their career minus the Corabi album. Best part for me is any and all shots of Nikki Sixx wearing the black and white striped jump suit from the Theatre of Pain days. Either he was going for a Jailhouse Rock look, was a big fan of The Penguin or was just too fucked up to realize what he was wearing. Pretty sure I know the answer…

Los Angeles rock band Blackpool Republic has just released their first music video for the song “Light It Up.” This band looks and sounds very early Stone Temple Pilots and the lead singer wears his Scott Wieland influence on his very tight sleeves…
